One of the finest actors that India has ever managed to produce has come out with yet another masterpiece in which he excels in every single category. The actors supporting him, from Mahira to Nawaz are also fabulous and hats off to the national award winning director, Rahul Dholakia for making the film. After 25 years, Shah Rukh has played another negative role which honestly is something that I've wanted to see for such a long time.I don't want to give too much away, but 'Raees' is in line for one of the best films of the year, and thankfully I have gotten the chance to watch it. Bought up with the adage of ‘no business is small and no business is bigger than religion’, the film traces the journey of the bootlegger Raees who is ready to sacrifice anything for his work. Raees and his childhood friend Sadiq work for bootlegger Jairaj for years but soon Raees decides to move out to start on his own. Having the abilities of a leader and the brains of an intelligent businessman, Raees becomes successful and influential enough to pull strings for his own benefits. He also doesn’t hesitate to remove people who are hindrance to his success. On his way towards success, he comes across Aasiya whom he falls in love and gets married. Amidst his smooth life, comes Jhatak Majumdar, an honest police officer who can go to any lengths to arrest Raees and put him behind bars. Then starts the rat and mouse game, a battle between right and wrong where everything is at stake.
